Event Description:
The Uinta County Veterans Board is hosting a Freedom 5k Color Dash! Proceeds from the event will be used to create the nation's FIRST Gulf Monument at the Bear River State Park! This monument will recognize and honor the service and sacrifice of our country's military men and women, from the first Gulf War through the on-going global War on Terror.
Location:
The Freedom 5k Color Dash begins and ends at the Bear River State Park Information Center in Evanston. For any out of town guests, the park is easily accessible from I-80; take Exit 6 and turn south!
Date/Time Information:
Saturday, July 2, 2016. Race starts at noon, additional events before and after the Freedom 5k.
