The 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment Celebration in Evanston!
The 19th Amendement to the U.S. Constitution, giving the women the right to vote, was passed by Congress on June 4, 1919 and ratified by states in August of 1920. Evanston is celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the passing of the amendment by hosting an event each month of this year. Come learn what local volunteers from different organizations have planned for you to celebrate and participate in.
